Premier Li stresses cutting red tape, improving business environment

Premier Li Keqiang on Friday called for making new progress in cutting red tape to improve the business environment, boost the vitality of market entities and stimulate development momentum.

Li, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made the remarks at a teleconference on issues including deepening reforms to streamline administrative approvals, delegate power to lower levels and improve regulations and services.

Vice Premier Han Zheng, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, presided over the meeting.
