International Regatta to kick off in November in S. China

The 2020 Belt & Road International Regatta will kick off on November 6 in Beihai city, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, reported the local sports bureau on Tuesday.

About 30 sailing clubs and teams from home and abroad will participate in the 10-day race, held along the city's famous sightseeing spots including Silver Beach and Weizhou island.

The local sports bureau said the competition offers several categories of events including optimist, keelboat, kite-boarding and wind surfing.

The event is jointly organized by Administration of Sport of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the municipal government of Beihai.
