China's foreign trade continues growth pattern
China saw its foreign trade grow 1.8 percent on a yearly basis to 29.04 trillion yuan ($4.17 trillion) between January and November, with exports surging 3.7 percent and imports declining 0.5 percent according to data released by the General Administration of Customs on Monday.
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the European Union, the United States, Japan and Republic of Korea remained China's top five trading partners during the 11-month period.
China's foreign trade with ASEAN, its largest trading partner, jumped 6.7 percent year-on-year to 4.24 trillion yuan from January and November, while its trade volume with the EU, its second-largest trading partner, grew 4.7 percent on a yearly basis to 4.05 trillion yuan.
In the meantime, China's goods trade with the US soared 6.9 percent on a yearly basis to 3.65 trillion yuan.
The imports and exports of China's private companies reached 13.47 trillion yuan between January and November, a rise of 11.3 percent year-on-year, accounting for 46.4 percent of the country's total foreign trade value.
