First China-Europe freight train from Chengdu arrives in St. Petersburg, Russia

The first China-Europe freight train from Chengdu to St. Petersburg arrives at Shushary railway station in St. Petersburg, Russia, March 15, 2021. A new China-Europe freight train route has been launched, linking Chengdu in southwest China's Sichuan Province with Russia's St. Petersburg. The first freight train on this route left Chengdu on Feb. 21, carrying supplies for a key project under the Belt and Road Initiative. (Xinhua)
