NE. China's Jilin sees soaring foreign trade growth in first two months

Northeast China's Jilin Province saw robust foreign trade growth in the first two months of 2021, according to local authorities.
The province's total import and export value hit 27.84 billion yuan in the January-February period, up 51.4 percent year on year.
Of the total, exports increased 28.8 percent year on year to 5.4 billion yuan, and imports reached 22.44 billion yuan, up 58 percent year on year.
During the period, the province's foreign trade with Belt and Road countries hiked 59.6 percent year on year to 8.55 billion yuan.
An official with the provincial department of commerce noted that in the future, Jilin will continue efforts to strictly implement its regulation and policies and go all out to promote the steady growth of foreign trade.
