South China's Hainan launches 108 free trade port construction projects with RMB29.1 billion investment

108 projects for Hainan free trade port construction were launched Thursday in Haikou, capital city of south China's Hainan Province, with a total investment of 29.1 billion yuan and a planned investment of 7.9 billion yuan in 2021.

Among the 108 projects as the third batch of the province's free trade port construction projects for 2021, there are 6 projects each with investment of more than 1 billion yuan, and accumulatively accounted for 30 percent of the total investment.

Since the beginning of this year, Hainan free trade port has already launched 357 projects with a total investment of about 100 billion yuan.

Hainan takes the projects as the carrier to implement various policies of the Hainan free trade port, laying a solid foundation for the promotion of the free trade port construction with high quality and high standards, said Shen Danyang, vice-governor of Hainan province.
