China's Manzhouli port sees over 2,000 China-Europe freight train trips

The number of trips made by the China-Europe freight trains via the Manzhouli port in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has exceeded 2,000 as of June 29, according to data recently released by China Railway Harbin Group Co., Ltd.

Such trains via the port made a total of 2,010 trips, with 193,128 TEUs delivered, as of June 29.

At present, there have been 52 routes run by the China-Europe freight trains via the Manzhouli port to reach European countries. The trains help deliver goods from more than 60 domestic cities such as Tianjin, Changsha, Guangzhou, and Suzhou.

The trains help transport exported goods, including daily use articles, electrical appliances, industrial machinery, metals, agricultural and sideline products, while imported goods transported by such trains include auto parts, plates and food, etc.

Manzhouli, the largest land port on the China-Russia border, has made efforts to enhance customs efficiency to facilitate foreign trade.
