English version of "Financial Str. Release" debuts during annual Financial Street Forum

The English version of "Financial Street Release" or "Financial Str. Release" in short was formally rolled out on a press conference for special achievement held during the 2021 Annual Conference of Financial Street Forum on Thursday.

The English version serves well as a new member of the "Financial Street Release", an international platform for financial news release which was jointly launched by Beijing Financial Street Service Bureau and China Economic Information Service (CEIS) of Xinhua News Agency on last year's annual conference.

Gong Xixiang, secretary general of Xinhua News Agency said on the press conference that over the past year, 3,250 news articles have been released under the "Financial Street Release" column on online Apps and website of Xinhua Finance, a financial information and data service platform of CEIS.

By gradual launching of new columns to interpret China's financial policies and market, the "Financial Street Release" platform effectively conveys the authoritative voices of China's financial sector.

The photo shows that Yin Yong, vice mayor of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, Gong Xixiang, secretary general of Xinhua News Agency, Sun Shuo, head of Beijing's Xicheng District government and Xu Yuchang, chairman and president of CEIS touched the screen to kick off the English version of "Financial Street Release" on Thursday.

Together with the English version, "Financial Street Release" is dedicated to helping craft the Financial Street Forum into important platforms for China to participate in global financial governance and realize sound interaction between finance and real economy and for authoritative releasing of national financial policies and communication and cooperation of global financial industry.

During the press conference, a launching ceremony was held for the rollout of the English version of "Financial Street Release", kicking off the overseas brand construction of the financial news release platform.

Year to date, the English version of "Financial Street Release" has been put online on the homepage of English website of Xinhua Silk Road department of CEIS (https://en.imsilkroad.com/).
