The Xi'an Cross-border Training Base was unveiled at the Xi'an Cross-border Service Center in Beilin district, Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on Dec 9, and the digital Silk Road enterprise exchange meeting was also held.

Many experts, scholars, and well-known entrepreneurs in the field of cross-border e-commerce participated in the meeting to jointly build a platform for cross-border e-commerce development and communication, and explore new paths for the development of the sector.

The results of the construction of the China (Xi'an) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area in 2021 were announced at the meeting.

From January to October this year, Xi'an’' cross-border e-commerce transactions increased significantly, reaching 8.51 billion yuan ($1.34 billion), a year-on-year increase of 64 percent and fulfilling the annual target of 8 billion yuan ahead of schedule.

The Xi'an municipal bureau of commerce regarded Beilin district as the first cross-border e-commerce training base in Xi'an, and will further optimize the layout and improve the cross-border e-commerce training system in the city.

The event has laid a solid foundation for Xi'an's cross-border e-commerce talent training, and promoted the cooperation and sharing between Xi'an and global cross-border e-commerce enterprises.
