Ganzhou international land port in east China's Jiangxi Province recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the container terminal and logistics park of Wilhelmshaven, the deep-water container terminal in Lower Saxony of Germany, aiming to deepen cooperation in oversea location business, reported Chinanews.com Monday.

According to the agreement, the two sides will also carry out more exchanges and cooperation in modern logistics, multimodal transportation, green and low-carbon development, and port development.

Relying on the location advantages of the two ports as the regional logistics hubs, the two sides will strengthen the trade ties between China's Jiangxi Province and Lower Saxony of Germany, promoting Wilhelmshaven and Ganzhou port to become the regional distribution centers of the two countries.

The agreement signed by the two ports will further promote cooperation between the two countries, achieving high-quality development in trade, industry, logistics corridors and other aspects, said Luo Yongfeng, an official with the management committee of Ganzhou international land port.
