TIANJIN, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Iranian designer Ali Jalali has lived in north China's Tianjin for 13 years.

With a yearning for the mysterious oriental culture, he came to China in pursuit of design inspirations.

He is now working as a freelance designer, and owns a studio, also a cultural and creative products store in the city.

Decorated with 200,000 colored pencils, the name of the store "kolofo" is a homonym for colorful.

He hopes for introducing more oriental products to Iran and the rest of the world.
