NIO speeds up construction of NEV battery swap stations in Europe

Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker NIO is accelerating the construction of its NEV battery swap stations in Europe, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported.
The company's first NEV battery swap station in Germany is set to be put into trial operation, Li Bin, founder of NIO, said recently.
According to Li, two battery swap stations were built in Norway and a charging and swapping station in Gothenburg, Sweden will also be completed by the end of this year.
In addition to the construction of battery swap stations, NIO has provided access to more than 380,000 third-party chargers in Europe.
