MG brand shines in British car market with outstanding performances

MG, a car brand under SAIC Motor, has bucked the trend of soft growth in the British auto market and performed excellently in the country over the past years.

"In terms of the absolute number of cars being sold, MG's performance within that market is the best in the industry," said Guy Pigounakis, MG Motor UK's commercial director.

Over the past years, with the help of the SAIC Motor, one of the largest automakers in China, MG has developed rapidly in the UK and the UK company has grown from a relatively small manufacturer in terms of sales performance to a premier league manufacturer, according to Guy Pigounakis.

Speaking of the recently-launched MG4 ELECTRIC, Guy Pigounakis believed that the brilliantly and beautifully engineered car with the fantastic quality and reliability is good news to the consumers.

It is reported that the new EV model is built with the SAIC Motor's new MSP platform that is designed solely for all-electric cars. Equipped with an active safety system and a data security protection system, MSP aims to provide customers with a safe and quiet environment. MG4 ELECTRIC has reached the international top level in terms of design, safety, environmental protection, and quality.
