A Turkish business leader said China's opening up with a win-win approach is precisely what businessmen across the globe expect and seek.

Demir Sarman, head of the Federation of Food and Drink Industry Associations of Türkiye (TGDF), said Turkish business people consider China an exemplary player.

TGDF, the umbrella organization of Türkiye's food and beverage industry, is participating in the upcoming China International Import Expo (CIIE) for the first time this year, with ten companies from the sector. The 5th CIIE will open in China's Shanghai on Nov. 5.

Sarman also hailed the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), saying it facilitates and boosts trade among countries.
