KPMG China on Wednesday opened a new office in Wuxi, east China's Jiangsu Province, providing high-quality service to support the city's in-depth participation in the integrated regional development of the Yangtze River Delta, reported Shanghai Securities News.

Combining KPMG's global resources and intelligence, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, the Wuxi office will strive to take full advantage of the opportunities brought by the city's industrial structure upgrading and engage in qualified cooperation with KPMG's other offices in the Yangtze River Delta region to achieve high-quality regional development, according to Mo Kangni, chief partner at the Wuxi office of KPMG China.

Based on the strategic position of Wuxi as a central city of the Yangtze River Delta region and a member of the greater Shanghai metropolitan area, KPMG will continue to develop its business to cover more key clients in the region, boosting the expansion of KPMG in Wuxi City and Jiangsu Province, Mo noted.

KPMG is also one of the exhibitors of the upcoming 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE). The CIIE is a meaningful event for China as it improves foreign exhibitors' recognition of the Chinese market, Mo said, adding that the expo is beneficial to not only China, but the world in terms of promoting global economy development and optimizing common goods.
