Shandong's comprehensive bonded zones see surging foreign trade in 2022

The foreign trade volume of the comprehensive bonded zones in east China's Shandong Province surged 22 percent year on year to 593.69 billion yuan in 2022, 8.2 percentage points higher than the province's overall foreign trade growth, repoted Dazhong Daily Tuesday, quoting local customs.
In 2022, 7,901 enterprises in the comprehensive bonded zones participated in import and export trade, with an increase of 20.3 percent over the previous year, among which 1,238 private enterprises and 82 foreign-funded enterprises were increased.
By now, a total of 14 comprehensive bonded zones have been established in Shandong Province, ranking the third in the country.
