A fleet of 800 buses manufactured by leading Chinese bus maker Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. (Yutong Bus, 600066.SH) departed Zhengzhou in central China's Henan Province on Thursday for Uzbekistan, reported chinanews.com.

The batch including 500 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses and 300 electric buses is so far China's largest bus export to Uzbekistan.

The buses will be delivered to a bus company in Uzbekistan's Tashkent in batches and help local public transportation go green, according to Li Haifeng, project manager of Yutong Bus in Uzbekistan.

Li said that the exported electric buses are tailor-made for Tashkent so that they can operate effectively under local high-temperature, dry conditions and prevent dust.

In addition to bus export, Yutong Bus has built a complete after-sales service system, a spare parts storage warehouse and a after-sales service team in Uzbekistan to provide local customers with full-cycle services around the clock.
