SHENZHEN, April 6 (Xinhua) -- French pharmaceutical giant Sanofi and Pingshan district government in China's Shenzhen on Tuesday signed a letter of intent on vaccine cooperation.

The two sides agreed to accelerate the introduction of innovative vaccines to the Chinese market and promote innovative development of biopharmaceutical industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

In 2022, the number of biopharmaceutical enterprises in Pingshan has exceeded 1,000, forming a bio-industry cluster.
