Brian Lalor, a native of Ireland who is currently the deputy head of Xi'an Liangjiatan International School in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, praised the city for becoming like a second hometown for him and his family.

Having lived in Xi'an for the past nine years, Lalor said that he really enjoys the rich history and culture of the city.

Lalor has been engaged in international education for many years, and he often goes to Southeast Asia, Australia, and other places to meet with people in international education to find suitable talents.

During those trips, he actively promotes Xi'an, introducing the city's history, culture, and living environment of Xi'an to others in great detail.

Lalor said his love of poetry was a factor in his great respect for Xi'an. He joined a poetry club, where expats and locals study poetry together.

Although he rarely has time to meet his poetry friends, he shares his feelings on various social media accounts, where he also shares interesting things happening in the school that parallel the development of Xi'an.

Before coming to China, Lalor worked in Vietnam for nine years, where he was also engaged in international education.

Over the years, with his professional advantages, he has helped many expats working in Xi'an solve their children's schooling problems.

Now, Lalor's wife and their three daughters are currently living in Xi'an. He often takes his family to visit various places in Xi'an and they regular participate in social welfare activities.

"We live very happily in Xi'an. The whole family likes it very much and regards it as our own home," Lalor said.
