BYD tops Israeli NEV market sales for 7 consecutive months

A total of 1,246 units of BYD ATTO 3 were registered in Israel in May, data from Israel Vehicle Importers Association showed recently, marking that the vehicle model has won the sales champion of all Israeli vehicle series for seven consecutive months, reported Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities Journal.

Specifically, in the first five months of 2023, BYD saw 8,496 automobiles registered in Israeli market, accounting for 35.5 percent of the total registered pure electric vehicles.

Since the start of vehicle deliveries in Israel in October 2022, BYD ATTO 3 has widely gained consumer attention, with the first local BYD store receiving 2,000 orders in just one week after opening. At present, local dealers have opened a total of five BYD stores in major Israeli cities such as Haifa and Tel Aviv.

BYD introduced that as the company's first global model to go global, the BYD ATTO 3 won the championship in pure electric vehicle sales in New Zealand and Singapore in April 2023, and became the top seller in Thailand pure electric vehicle market for four consecutive months.
