Shaanxi’s Action Plan for the Belt and Road Construction (2018)
China’s Shaanxi Province released an action plan for the Belt and Road construction in 2018 on March 21, with a task list including 67 items.
According to the action plan, Shaanxi plans to build five centers for the Belt and Road, improve the development environment and enhance organization and coordination.
The five centers are the Center for Transport, Commerce, Trade and Logistics, the Center for International Industrial Capacity Cooperation, the Center for Technology and Education, the Center for International Culture and Tourism, and the Silk Road Financial Center.
The plan also says that Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi, is trying to be the host place of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in 2019.
