Carry out Various Measures to Support the Construction of Pingtan International Tourism Island

The Tourism Development Board of Fujian province has firmly conducted the patrol and rectification work, and aimed at the specific rectification tasks of "strengthening the support for Pingtan tourism, promoting Pingtan tourism to  a hot spot and enhancing tourism popularity", and refining the rectification measures one by one. The "Ten Measures to Support the Construction of Pingtan International Tourism Island" was issued, and the "One Week One Summary" and "One Inspection for Every Two Weeks" working mechanisms were established to continuously promote the construction of Pingtan International Tourism Island.

Increase financial support and intellectual support. On the basis of supporting the special construction fund of Pingtan 10 million yuan for three consecutive years from 2016, it will be extended for another 3 years to support the construction of Pingtan tourism infrastructure. Increase the incentives for travel agencies who organize tourists from outside the province to travel to Taiwan via Pingtan Port. The award standard has been raised from the original 100 yuan/person to 120 yuan/person. On August 7th, the 2018 Pingtan International Tourism Island Seminar was held jointly with Pingtan, and nearly 50 experts were invited to discuss the Pingtan International Tourism Island. The Pingtan International Tourism Island Expert Think Tank was also established.

Continue to promote Pingtan tourism. "Pingtan Blue" is one of the main pictures of CCTV "News Broadcasting" "Fresh Fujian". People’s Network and Xinhuanet’s "Fresh Fujian" has started a special Pingtan publicity column. CCTV-4 " The Remote Home" has completed the bidding. At the end of September, it will be on the play; in the "Fujian Tourism" official WeChat public account, the "Fresh Fujian ? Pingtan Blue" column was set up to highlight Pingtan tourism scenic spots and strategies; in August, tourism promotion activities were held in Russia, Belarus, Malaysia and the Philippines, focusing on "Fresh Fujian?Pingtan Blue"; jointly organized 2018 Pingtan Tourism Carnival with Pingtan, and held events of three themes including"Beautiful Pingtan Scenic Spots" and "2018 Pingtan International Tourism Island Seminar" "International Life Aesthetics Art Exhibition and Achievements Exhibition for the 40th Anniversary of  Pingtan Tourism Reform and Opening-up". from September 15th, members of the National Photographers Association will be organized to Pingtan to take photos so as to effectively enhance the popularity and influence of "Qingxin Fujian?Pingtan Blue".

Accelerate the enrichment of tourism products. The Fujian Tourism Commission has included the Pingtan Shicuo Renjia Rural Leisure Tourism Complex in the first batch of regional landmark tourism products projects in Fujian Province, and plans to subsidize the early planning with the provincial-level tourism special funds. On September 7th, the "Fresh  Fujian" tourism investment and financing cooperation and major project promotion special exhibition was held in Xiamen. 34 projects were signed on site, with a total investment of 80.692 billion yuan. Pingtan made a special promotion at the meeting and signed two projects, Huanhai Rainforest Island and Tuju Auto Camp with a total investment of 3.25 billion yuan. The Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce innovated and promoted the construction of the "Fresh Fujian" trillion tourism project library. Fujian Province has initially formed 1040 projects and invested a total of 10815 billion yuan in these tourism project libraries, of which Pingtan has 17 projects such as Binhai International Resort Hotel and the Beautiful Crown - Nanwan Tourism Comprehensive Development, including new business products of transformation and upgrading and industrial integration products such as coastal resorts, rural cultural creations and cultural performances, performance of cultural activities, with a total investment of 27.89 billion yuan.

Contribute in improving the level of tourism services. Increase the training of Pingtan tourism management personnel and tour guides, lecturers and other tourist service personnel. From early August to mid-September, we have organized Pingtan tour guides and tourism management personnel to participate in Fujian Province in-service tour guides and scenic spot lecturers training class, 2018 "Fresh Fujian Grand Lecture Hall" special lectures, September 10-14 Practice Promotion Training Sessions for Taiwan Guides Practicing in Fujian Province Pilot Free Trade Zone were held in Pingtan. Continue to guide and support Pingtan to improve the tourism distribution center, scenic tourist center, tourist toilets, signage and other supporting facilities, and continuously improve the level of public services.
