Changchun-Manzhouli-Europe train line operates well

The Changchun-Manzhouli-Europe freight train line carried over 400 TEU (20-foot container unit)  containers  in January 2017, marking a good beginning for the year.

Under the strategy of "multimodal transport logistics + business services + financial services," the freight train service has helped Jilin Province integrate cross-border trade and gain a favorable balance of trade.

Apart from auto parts, digital products and glassware, more products, such as electric machinery, industrial molds, milk powder and beer, have been transported by the line. As more industries get involved,, the line further consolidates its position as an important international logistics channel n Sino-European trade.

In the future, the line is expected to help enhance the connectivity among countries along the Belt & Road Initiative routes. It will carry refrigerated products from Southeast Asia to Russia and Europe and further integrate Jilin into the Belt & Road Initiative.
