Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Area forges the first service center for taiwan compatriots and enterprises

Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone, on the basis of the "Taiwan Compatriots Service Office" of the administrative service center, has set up the first "Service Center for Taiwan Compatriots and Taiwan Enterprises" in China.

The Center achieved the integration of "reception service" and "affairs handling". The service function covers "administrative examination and approval, public service, convenient civil items" and other aspects. Chen Lan, deputy director of the administrative service center of Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Area, said, "We upgraded the original Taiwan Compatriots Service office" to "Taiwan Compatriots Service Hall" to provide one-stop consultation and service for Taiwan compatriots. In addition to consultation, actual affairs can be handled here. The actual services include registration of Taiwan-funded enterprises, certification of Taiwan compatriots, certification of Taiwan compatriots, temporary residence permit, acceptance of qualifications and financial legal services.

9The Center adopts the cross-strait "co-management" model. At present, nine Taiwanese compatriots have participated in the work of public administration of the center. Zhang Chenshuo, a young Taiwanese who has just come to work in Pingtan Taichun Enterprise Service Center this year, has been assigned to the financial business window of the Center. This is his first job in mainland China. He said, "Pingtan is now my first job in mainland China and i have been taken care by my compatriots here. Life here is good, there is a restaurant and we dont have to worry about the three meals a day. We live in a talent settlement house and do not need to pay extra rent."

Yang Zhe'an, a Taiwan compatriot who came to work in Pingtan in 2013, now holds the post of Deputy Director of Pingtan Financial Services Office. After six years of hard work in Pingtan, as a participant in the construction of Pingtan, he felt that Pingtan had made a lot of efforts, especially in the integration of the two sides. He said: "In recent years, Pingtan, especially in the integration of the two sides, and in the work about the two sides, and it is indeed the window of cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, as Chairman Xi said. Especially for the cross-strait common homeland, a lot of efforts and work have been done. During my six years here, I have seen a lot of Taiwanese coming and going. In fact, I believe that there are so many innovations and so much work we have done on integration in our experimental area. I believe that many Taiwanese will take this place as a real second home in the future, without misunderstanding."
