Five highlights of the 2nd Digital China Summit:

Highlight 1: higher profile. DCS 2019 is positioned as a "cooperation platform pooling global strengths to boost digital China construction" on the basis of DCS 2018's functional orientation of three platforms last year, showing that the summit has gone global initially.

Highlight 2: larger scale. The total number of guests has increased from 800 to 1,500. DCS has expanded from an event with "one conference and one exhibition" into an event with "one conference, one exhibition and one contest (Digital China Innovation Contest)". The number of sub-forums has increased to 12. The Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the National Health Commission have joined as sub-forum organizers. The exhibition area of DCS has expanded from 40,000 square meters to some 60,000 square meters.

Highlight 3: larger scope. Guangdong, Jiangsu and Guizhou, three areas developed in informatization and the digital economy, were invited to the summit as guest provinces of honor. 23 provinces and municipalities participated in the exhibition last year, all domestic provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities have signed up for the exhibition this year.

Highlight 4: Stronger atmosphere. On the basis of Minjiang Night Dialogue last year, "Three Lanes, Seven Alleys" Dialogue and other activities were added this year. The "Online Summit" was launched yesterday afternoon. During the summit, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Longyan, Pingtan and other areas will also plan and carry out activities. ZTE will launch its 5G flagship devices in China for the first time. 156 enterprises plan to launch their new products and technologies during the summit.

Highlights 5: more solid investment promotion. The Office of the Fujian Provincial Leading Group on Digital Fujian Construction has established a provincial system of scheduling meeting on digital economic project construction. The digital economic project library has brought in 1,628 projects, with a total investment of 1.25 trillion yuan. 40 major projects will be signed at DCS 2019.
