Big Data Expo 2019 Leading Technology Achievement Award included in Social Science & Technology Award Catalogue

On February 21, according to a source from the Executive Committee of Big Data Expo, the Big Data Expo 2019 Leading Technology Achievement Award set up by the Organizing Committee of Big Data Expo has been included the Social Science & Technology Award Catalogue issued by the National Office for Science & Technology Awards (NOSTA).

The awards included in the catalogue are regular social science & technology awards supported by non-state fiscal funds and set up spontaneously by social organizations or individuals other than national institutions in China in accordance with the regulations on national science & technology awards.

Since its inauguration in 2015, Big Data Expo has extensively collected leading big data technology achievements from enterprises, universities, research institutes, industrial organizations and individuals worldwide every year, and selected leading technology achievements in four categories ("black technologies", "new products", "new technologies" and "business models") for release. Big Data Expo 2018 collected 526 entries, selected and released 51 leading technology achievements including 11 black technologies, 10 new technologies, 20 new products and 10 new business models. Only 8 percent of the entries were selected for the award, showing its professionalism and value.

The leading technology achievement collection for Big Data Expo 2019 started this January. By February 21, 567 entities and individuals had registered for the leading technology achievement declaration system of Big Data Expo.
