Guiyang Big Data Development Path in 2018: Working Hard on the Ten Industrial Parks of China’s Big Data Valley
On February 12, 2018, the municipal committee guided the big data competent authorities of district and county levels to hold the conference on “Big Data Development Goal, Industrial Park Construction and Investment Attraction in 2018”, focusing on the topic of studying and planning the annual goal of big data development, industrial park construction and investment attraction.
According to conference, following the implementation opinions of China’s Big Data Valley, new breakthrough and progress should be made in industrial development, government data clustering, integration and application, big data security, big data talents, information infrastructure construction, etc., to push the big data to a new level with great efforts. In 2018, the main business avenue of big data enterprises will break through 100 billion yuan, with an increase of 25%; and 10 big data industrial parks (clustering zones) will be under construction. Two 5-billion big data industrial bases will be built this year; 51 excellent and strong big data enterprises at home and abroad will be introduced here; 10 core big data brands will be created. The integration index of big data with the real economy will reach 44.
The conference has clarified that we will accelerate the establishment of 10 large big data industrial parks (clustering zones), including Guiyang International Software Industrial Park and Guizhou Alibaba Industrial Base by means of co-construction with urban areas and plan the industrial parks (clustering zones) with high starting point and high standards; we will define clearly the leading industry, development goal, planning scope, construction entities and supporting services, etc., so as to construct the ten large industrial parks (clustering zones) into a fundamental core platform for accelerating the gathering of big data industries and attracting excellent enterprises to settle down here; we will also build a 5-billion yuan big data industrial base in high-tech and economic and technological development zone.
The conference has stressed that, in 2018, we should enhance the urgency of industrial investment attraction, fully carry out investment attraction, create sound business environment, make the mechanism better and largely improve the scale, quality and efficiency of investment attraction; we will formulate “Guiyang Big Data Investment Attraction Activity Working Program (2018-2020)”, focusing on the data storage and cloud computing, integration of big data with the real economy, AI, data security, ICV, electronic information manufacturing, call and service outsourcing, etc., and make great efforts to attract investment by taking business to canvass business, industry chain investment, financing investment, supporting projects investment and so on. In 2018, we will strive to introduce more than 150 projects, invest over 15 billion yuan and attract more than 100 enterprises settling down here, among which there will be 51 excellent and strong ones.
