Awesome "Black Technologies" at the Big Data Expo 2019

The China International Big Data Industry Expo 2019 (Big Data Expo 2019) just concluded in Guiyang released "leading technologies". 149 technology projects received awards and 49 of them won the "Leading Technology Achievement Award".

According to a source from the release conference, the 49 winners include 10 "black technologies" from iFlyTek, Qihoo 360 and other technology companies, covering the innovative application of AI, IoT, blockchain, cloud computing and other emerging technologies in fields such as poverty alleviation, e-government service, social governance, ecological protection and livelihood security.

"iFly Translator 2.0"

This is a new-generation AI translator introduced by iFlyTek. It features world leading AI technologies such as neural machine translation, speech recognition, semantic comprehension, speech synthesis, image recognition, offline translation and four-microphone array, accomplishes the instant inter-translation between Chinese and other languages, and meets the translation needs of over 200 countries and regions.

The technology has been widely used on occasions such as inbound and outbound travel, language learning and business conversation, and supports the instant inter-translation between Sichuan dialect/Dongbei dialect/Henan dialect/ Cantonese and English, between mandarin and Cantonese.

Based on its strong dialect recognition technology, iFly can instantly translate dialects and non-standard mandarin with dialect accents, such as Cantonese, Sichuan dialect, Northeastern Mandarin and Henan dialect, into English.

In specific scenarios like high-end business talks, iFly can contact translators online to provide real-time translation service. It currently supports real-time human translation in 11 languages including English, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Italian, Portuguese, Thai and Arabic.

360 Security Brain

360 Security Brain is a distributed intelligent security system with the capabilities of perception, learning, reasoning, prediction and decision making. It uses IoT, mobile communication, AI, blockchain, cloud computing, big data, edge computing, network security (IMABCDE-S) and other technologies, to escort the "great security" era.

Sogou AI Anchor

Sogou AI Anchor was unveiled at the 2018 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit. Then in association with the Xinhua News Agency (XNA), Sogou launched Xinxiaohao, a "clone" of XNA anchor Qiu Hao.

Behind the application is Sogou's "cloning technology". With a bit of audio and video data, Sogou can make a vivid AI anchor. It is said that Sogou hopes to improve the quality of man-machine interaction, enhance viewers' experience and use the "cloning technology" in more industries in the future, to help industrial practitioners improve efficiency and create more benefits.

Under the "Belt and Road" Initiative, Sogou initiated its cooperation with Russia in AI anchor synthesis technology. The Russian AI anchor will be launched this June. Previously Sogou signed an agreement with the UAE and planned to launch an Arabic-speaking AI anchor next year.
