China-Europe freight train sends medical supplies to Poland

A freight train carrying anti-coronavirus supplies departed the city of Yiwu, east China's Zhejiang Province Friday for Malaszewicze, Poland.
The train departed Yiwu at 10:18 a.m., carrying 100 TEUs with more than 350 tonnes of cargo, including face masks and protective suits, as well as decorations, garments and shoes.
It will arrive in Malaszewicze in 13 days, and the cargo will then be delivered to 23 European countries, including Spain, Britain, Germany and Italy.
Statistics show that as of Thursday, a total of 96 China-Europe freight trains departed from Yiwu this year. The trains carried 8,114 TEUs, up 70.2 percent year on year.
