The Chinese authorities have recently approved establishment of the first bonded logistics center (Type B) in Hainan Province.

It is reported that the project will be constructed and operated by the Sanya Phoenix International Airport under the HNA Group.

Located on the west side of Sanya Phoenix Airport Freight Station, the center coversa planned area of 49,096 square meters.

Construction on the center is expected to start at the end of October this year. It will mainly provide services on the storage of duty-free and bonded commodities for cross-border e-commerce and international trade, and on various forms of international logistics and distribution including general cargo, cold chain logistics, dangerous goods logistics (consumer goods), etc.

The center will serve as a platform to boost the development of Sanya's cross-border e-commerce, and provide strong support for the opening-up of the city and the province.
