"Single window" service for int'l inv't in S. China's Hainan benefits 1,500-odd foreign-invested firms

The "single window" service for international investment in south China's Hainan Province has helped 1,539 foreign-invested firms handle 3,250 investment-related business applications as of November 13 this year, providing investors with "one-stop" services, reported Hainan Daily Thursday.

Established by Hainan's government authorities including the Department of Commerce of Hainan Province and the Big Data Administration of Hainan Province, the "single window" service for international investment was China's first whole-process "package" investment service platform.

It started trial operation on April 13 of 2019, and officially went online on August 13 this year.

The "single window" service includes four modules, namely consulting services, business registration, project construction, and supporting services.

By integrating 20 government affairs systems of 13 departments of Hainan Province, the "single window" can realize one-window handling of businesses related to starting a business like social security registration and tax registration application, as well as 234 investment-extension services like foreign exchange registration and visa application, covering the whole process of investment.

Currently, the "single window" service for international investment of Hainan is increasingly popular, effectively facilitate investment in the province by providing convenient online services for domestic and foreign investors.
