LA PAZ, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Bolivia held a ceremony in the southeastern city of Puerto Suarez on Friday to welcome the arrival of the first batch of large equipment for the Mutun steel plant project built by China's Sinosteel.
The Mutun mine is one of the largest single iron ore mines in the world. The Mutun steel plant is an important cooperation project between China and Bolivia.
