China's NFC signs USD554 mln supply contract with Indonesian firm

BEIJING, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC, 000758.SZ) announced on late Monday that it has recently signed a facility and material supply contract with the Indonesian company, PT AMMAN MINERAL INDUSTRI. 

According to a filing to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the contract is valued at about 554 million U.S. dollars and will last for 34 months after the construction commencement of a copper smelting project launched by the Indonesian company. 

It is learned that the Indonesian company plans to build a smelter with an annual capacity of handling 900,000 metric tons (tonnes) of copper concentrate.

In 2020, the NFC achieved a revenue of about 6.79 billion yuan (about 1.07 billion U.S. dollars).
