GLOBALink | Philippine shadow dance group welcomes Beijing Winter Olympics

MANILA, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Between light and shadow, an exquisite dance prepared by Filipino shadow dancers delivers the good wishes and expectations to the upcoming 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

The "shadow dance," performed by the group El Gamma Penumbra (light and shadow), aims to thank China for supporting the Southeast Asian country's fight against the pandemic with vaccines.

Marvin Marfa, artistic director of the group, said the show is inspired by the good China-Philippines relationship and he expects great success for the upcoming winter games.
