HANGZHOU, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- How has Chinese people's passion for winter sports boosted the development of relevant sectors and the local economy? 

Fifteen years ago, the first ski resort in east China's Zhejiang Province was opened in Anji County, and now there are three ski resorts here.

As of January 2022, there are 16 ski resorts in the province.

According to Fliggy, a tourism service platform, the bookings of trips themed on ice and snow across China have maintained an average weekly growth of 46 percent since December 2021.

Scenic spots in regions like Zhangjiakou of Hebei Province, Hangzhou and Anji of Zhejiang Province are bustling with tourists.
