QUITO, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Ministry of Health of Ecuador and the Chinese biopharmaceutical company Sinovac Biotech have signed a letter of agreement in Quito on Wednesday to build a vaccine manufacturing in Ecuador.
According to the data from the health ministry, more than 13.51 million people in Ecuador have been vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine, accounting for approximately 84 percent of the country's targeted population.
