The train, with a code name "Chifeng", will arrive in Moscow through Manzhouli Port, to run across a total mileage of 8,129 kilometers.

Official sources showed that the train carried a total of 50 containers, loaded with lysine sulfate, hydrochloride and other products, with a value of 12 million yuan.

Earlier, local officials have completed the work of cargo sources, customs declaration and customs clearance of the China-Europe freight train (Chifeng) through cooperation  with China Railway Shenyang Group Co., Ltd. and Sinotrans Limited.

Chen Zhanying, a person in charge of China-Europe freight train investment promotion team in Chifeng, said that the operation of the train would help Chifeng and surrounding regions better integrate into the Belt and Road construction, and improve the level of opening-up to the outside world.
