​5th CIIE sets up exhibition zone for artificial intelligence

The setup of artificial intelligence (AI) exhibition zone and online promotion for the Fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held recently, which forged a display and trade platform for overseas AI enterprises and advanced products to enter the Chinese market, said Liu Fuxue, deputy director of the the China International Import Expo Bureau.

The exhibition area is initially planned to cover an area of 5,000 square meters, focusing on two main themes of meta-universe and smart city as well as sub-themes such as cloud computing, algorithm modeling, platform construction, data governance, software application and meta-universe application.

Up to now, Microsoft, SAP, Facebook, Intel, Nokia and other leading enterprises have signed up for the exhibition, with the contracted area exceeding 70 percent of the total planned area, said Liu.

Exhibitors Eyexpo Technology, TeamViewer, Unity and AMA said they would display new AI products and technologies at this year's CIIE while 4Paradigm, an AI technology and service provider, expressed the intention to cooperate in the field of AI.
