NAIROBI, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Chinese phone maker Oppo on Monday launched the Reno 7 series in the African market.

Oppo said in a statement released in Nairobi, Kenya's capital, that the mobile device will be available in Kenya at both retail stores and online marketplaces such as Jumia, Kilimall and SkyGarden.

The 4G version will be priced at 42,999 shillings (about 372 U.S. dollars) while the 5G version will cost consumers 519 dollars.

According to the Chinese firm, the first official sales of the OPPO Reno 7 will start on May 5.
