China-Italy joint venture DEUTZ-FAHR accomplishes Q1 production task thanks to assistance from Linshu Economic Development Zone

Despite challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, the China-Italy joint venture DEUTZ-FAHR Machinery Co., Ltd. (DEUTZ-FAHR) managed to accomplish production task assigned for the first quarter with the help of the management committee of Linshu Economic Development Zone, said Alessio Pulcini, general manager of the company.

DEUTZ-FAHR, founded by Italy's SDF Group, the China-based Kingenta Ecological Engineering Group Co., Ltd. and Shandong Changlin Machinery Group Co., Ltd. in 2011 at the Linshu Economic Development Zone of Linyi City, east China's Shandong province, specializes in the manufacturing and sales of tractors and harvesting machines.

On May 9, Alessio sent a letter from Lodovico Bussolati, CEO of the SDF Group to the management committee of Linshu Economic Development Zone. In the letter, Lodovico expressed his gratitude for the management committee's support and care for DEUTZ-FAHR's business development during the pandemic.

DEUTZ-FAHR was touched by the timely help of the management committee. With the management committee on its side, the company is confident in future development. Next, it will continue following prevention and control measures while ensuring production, said Alessio.

Linshu Economic Development Zone will keep strengthening communication with enterprises, ensuring the supply of raw materials and product output, and helping them address difficulties, according to Liu Chongbao, director of the economic development zone.
