2022 world NEV congress to be held in S. China's Hainan in Aug.

The 2022 World New Energy Vehicle Congress (WNEVC) is set to be held in Haikou, capital of south China's Hainan Province from August 25 to 28, reported Hainan Daily on Tuesday.

Focusing around full electrification and global cooperation under the carbon-neutral vision, the event will invite government officials, experts and company representatives related with the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry across the globe to share their insights through discussion.

This year's congress is expected to contain over 20 conferences in various forms including plenary session, thematic forum, technical seminar, closed-door meeting, etc. The technical exhibition will cover a total area of 10,000 square meters, demonstrating cutting-edge technologies and products across NEV-related sectors such as NEVs, electric vehicle batteries, driving motors, hydrogen fuel cells, automotive chips, energy supply and supporting facilities. Other activities including a selection for global NEV technologies and NEV driving tours will also be included.

As the forth session of the WNEVC, the 2022 congress strives to further deepen international exchanges and cooperation, accelerate innovation of key technologies and breakthroughs in industrialization, strengthen the coordination of industrial chain, and develop a new ecology of the automotive industry.
