QI-ANXIN, a leading Chinese cybersecurity firm, signed strategic cooperation agreement last Thursday with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC).

The two sides will deepen cooperation in various fields, including going-global strategy, joint security solution integrating cybersecurity products and professional security services, and network security consulting service amid digital transformation.

Noting that digital economy has become increasingly important for future economic development, Gabriel Wong, PwC Head of China Corporate Finance, said that the two sides will embrace new opportunities as consulting service and security service are badly needed in the process of digital transformation.

According to Wong, the PwC could work with QI-ANXIN to promote their joint solutions globally with its 156 offices around the world and to provide more professional service to local governments and enterprises with its 27 offices in China. Meanwhile, the PwC also expected to collaborate with QI-ANXIN to provide better compliance solution for its foreign clients in developing countries.

Qi Xiangdong, chairman of QI-ANXIN Group hoped the cooperation could yield remarkable achievements, including becoming leading player in network security service and security consulting service and setting an example for other cybersecurity enterprises in going global under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

In September 2017, PwC launched Belt & Road United, a platform that promotes sharing and exploring of business opportunities along the Belt and Road (B&R). The cooperation with QI-ANXIN will also be based on this platform to explore the security market at home and abroad.
