CHONGQING, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Franco Bergamino, a 62-year-old Italian dessert chef, is running a dessert shop in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.

Bergamino's shop, which sells desserts that combine Chinese ingredients and flavors with Italian specialties, attracts lots of young Chinese customers.

Bergamino ran two dessert shops with a history of 90 years in his hometown of Turin before he came to China.

When he decided to open a business overseas years ago, Bergamino traveled to different countries around the world and decided that China was the best choice for him.

Bergamino said China is more suitable for his business as it has good tax policies and convenient life.

For future plans, Bergamino hopes to continue to work into his 90s and bring the charm of desserts to more Chinese customers.
