Chinese EV maker BYD presents 3 models at Paris Motor Show

China's leading new-energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer BYD had its three all-electric passenger car models, including Atto 3, Tang, and Han, showcased at the Paris Motor Show Monday, reported China Securities Journal.

BYD and Royal Dutch Shell, the world's leading energy and petrochemical conglomerate and one of BYD's global partners,  jointly announced at the event that they will provide a premium charging experience for BYD's European owners, including opening up access to approximately 300,000 Shell charging piles across Europe.

BYD always has high respect for the European auto industry and its ecosystem, and is willing to partner with local dealers to provide high-quality new energy products and services to European consumers, said Michael Shu, General Manager and Managing Director of BYD Europe and International Cooperation Division.

As an enterprise that has mastered the core technology of battery, motor, electronic control and car gauge chip in the whole industry chain, BYD's new energy vehicles have been launched in more than 70 countries and regions, covering more than 400 cities and serving more than 2.6 million car owners in total. The company has been the sales champion in Chinese new-energy passenger cars market for 9 consecutive years.
