Chinese robot manufacturer EFORT receives order of about RMB 241 mln from Volkswagen

Chinese robot maker EFORT Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. (EFORT, 688165.SH) announced that its subsidiary Autorobot has recently received a purchase order worth about 241 million yuan from Volkswagen, reported Shanghai Securities News Monday.

According to an announcement released by the company via information platform of Shanghai Stock Exchange, Autorobot is to provide underbody panel and rear wheel cover welding lines for pure electric vehicles to Volkswagen's Wolfsburg plant.

The order will account for 21.05 percent of the company's audited operating revenue in 2021, says EFORT in its announcement.
