A trade delegation from east China's Anhui Province signed orders worth a total of 110 million U.S. dollars during their visit to the Republic of Korea (ROK) from December 30, 2022 to January 3, 2023, said Department of Commerce of Anhui Province on Thursday.

In addition, the delegation paid a visit to the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, the only non-profit foreign trade and investment promotion agency under the ROK government, and agreed to cooperate in areas such as new energy vehicles and semiconductors and hold special events in 2023.

ROK is the fifth largest trading partner of Anhui Province and an important source of foreign investment. Over the years, the two sides have had in-depth cooperation in many pillar industries such as integrated circuit, semiconductor manufacturing and flat panel display, said Liu Guang, deputy director-general of the Department of Commerce of Anhui Province.
