Chinese tech firm NavInfo Co., Ltd. (NavInfo, 002405.SZ) has recently signed an agreement with BMW China Automotive Trading Ltd. to provide autonomous driving-related products and services for BMW in Chinese market, reported China Securities Journal Tuesday.

According to the company's announcement, specific products and services to be supplied to BMW will include Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) maps, High Definition (HD) maps and Location Based Services (LBS), etc.

It is learned that BMW and NavInfo have a long history of cooperation in intelligent driving, and the two sides inked a license agreement for autonomous driving maps and related services back in early 2019.

With map data and navigation products as the base and intelligent driving and human-vehicle interaction as the main application scenarios, NavInfo engages in providing customers with hardware and software product portfolio for intelligent vehicles, and accelerating the formation of a data-driven innovation closed-loop of "chip plus algorithm plus data plus cloud", public information shows.
