BEIJING, April 11 (Xinhua) -- An air cargo route linking east China's Qingdao and Belgium's Liege was launched on Tuesday, adding a new air logistics channel between China and Europe, according to SF Airlines.
Two round-trip cargo flights are scheduled to run between China and Europe every week on this route, adding 400 tonnes of air express capacity, the cargo airline said.
Prior to the opening of this new route, the airline on April 1 launched a cargo route linking Ezhou, in central China's Hubei Province, and Belgium's Liege.
SF Airlines is the aviation branch of China's leading courier enterprise SF Express. It is the country's largest air-cargo carrier operating a fleet of 80 freighters.
The company has established a cargo route network covering China, radiating across Asia, and reaching Europe and the United States. It is committed to continuously expanding the fleet size and strengthening the air-logistics service capacities to promote high-quality development.
