NW China's Horgos sees commercial vehicle export via highway up 62.3 pct y-o-y in Jan.-April

As of April 30 this year, the export of commercial vehicles through Horgos highway port in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region reached 20,900 units, up 62.3 percent year on year, data from Horgos office of China Immigration Inspection (CII) showed.

It is noted that the vehicles mostly came from Shanghai, Shandong, Shaanxi, Henan and other places in China, including forklifts, buses, dump trucks, second-hand new energy vehicles (NEVs), and will be sent to Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and other countries along the routes of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

In order to ensure the safe and efficient clearance of vehicles, immigration inspection and customs authorities and other departments in Horgos work closely to facilitate and optimize clearance service to effectively reduce the declaration time of vehicles at the port.
