Passenger flight service resumed between China's Chongqing and Vietnam's Nha Trang

Flight VJ5397 took off from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport on Thursday night, marking the official resumption of the direct passenger air services between southwest China's Chongqing Municipality and Vietnam's Nha Trang.
The air route, operated by Vietjet Air, is scheduled to fly three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
For the Chongqing-Nha Trang route, flight VJ5397 will depart from Chongqing at 21:00 Beijing time (1300 GMT) and arrive in Nha Trang at 23:35 local time (1635 GMT). On the return journey, flight VJ5396 will depart from Nha Trang at 15:25 local time (0825 GMT) and arrive in Chongqing at 19:55 Beijing time (1155 GMT).
Nha Trang is a popular coastal tourist city in Vietnam, and Chongqing has close economic and trade ties with Southeast Asian countries. The resumption of the flight service will facilitate economic, trade and cultural exchanges between the two places.
